   Product Description     

RESSASEAL® RYZW Series fireproof intumescent seal is a kind of adhesive-backed seal with hard PVC casing outside with a protection against cold smoke and fire. The activation temperature is around 120℃, and it will expand 5 times than original from thickness direction to prevent the smoke and fire spreading to safe room. When meet fire, it will fill the gap more rapidly than the other material intumescent seals, are widely used in the gun safe and fire safe and anywhere need the low temperature and rapid activation fireproof sealing. 

RYZW offers consistent protection against fire and prevents the loss of valuable commodities such as money, documents, computers equipment, guns etc. stored in safes. When used in cabinets for storing solvents RYZW ensures safety and prevents fire spread of readily ignitable or explosive substances.

RESSASEAL® RYZW series rigid PVC box fireproof intumescent seal sizes are multiple for customer choosing, and any other special dimensions are available. RESSA R&D Department will open the mold as per requirement.

  Installation   

RESSASEAL® RYZW series PVC box Intumescent materials intended for use with the operating gaps in fire safes and gun safe are usually marketed as strips as such extruding that are fixed with adhesive into grooves in the door leaf edge or in the door frame opposite the door leaf.

① Select the appropriate seal using the door test evidence, which will identify the size intumescent seal required.

② The seal needs to be located centrally in either the door leaf or frame.

③ Rout a groove suitable for the size of intumescent seal selected. Clean and remove any dust. Remove the self-adhesive 

backing liner from the product and push fit into the routed groove.

④ To achieve excellent adhesion seals must be applied to clean, dry surfaces at temperatures between +5℃ and +40℃.

RESSASEAL® RYZW series PVC box Intumescent Seals are packed in the corrugated carton and usually 200pcs in each carton outside covered by waterproof bag and fixed by packing straps.
